It’s officially the last day of summer… did you know that? It seems that Labor Day weekend or the start of school is the marker for me, but it’s official. So, the real question is:

Fall is upon us, do you lighten up or warm up?

Warmer tones make me think of football, crockpots and wood burning fires. It’s too soon for me to turn this head of blonde into warmer tones, let’s touch base again in a month.

We celebrated the 4th of July with my college roomie and her family, in their new family cabin in Sapphire, North Carolina. About a five-hour drive from the Raleigh area, we loaded the car up and traveled west.
